The South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (SoBRO) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life in the South Bronx by strengthening businesses and creating innovative economic, housing, educational, and career development programs for youth and adults.
SoBRO was seeking opportunities to save money without cutting back on any of their important programs. A lighting upgrade to their building seemed like the perfect solution, but they needed to avoid large upfront costs and be sure the project saved energy.
Revoltagen knew that Lighting-as-a-Service (LaaS) was the answer. With the help of SparkFund's capital and tools, as well as performance rebates from ConEdison, Revoltagen designed a custom LaaS program that allowed SoBRO to install high-efficiency LEDs in every corner of their facility with no money down. For one simple monthly payment, SoBRO received a turnkey lighting retrofit as well as four years of guaranteed energy savings and ongoing maintenance and repairs.
Working with Revoltagen and SparkFund was great. They understood exactly what our needs were and made sure the process was streamlined and simple so that we could continue to focus on our work.

SparkFund's As-a-Service platform was a perfect partner for the Revoltagen ESA. Customers love the pay-as-you-save structure and we’re thrilled about not missing out on deferred revenue.
